From the shop floor to Citizen’s Square
People’s World is a voice for progressive change and socialism in the United States. It provides news and analysis of, by, and for the labor and democratic movements to our readers across the country and around the world. With a small but dedicated staff, freelance contributors, and a nationwide network of volunteer writers, People’s World presents insights into local, national, and international struggles from the perspectives of those who are experiencing them. It’s an angle you won’t find in the corporate press.
Who we are
We are a local Fort Wayne affiliate of the People’s World newspaper. We are a small collective of volunteer writers based in and around northeast Indiana to bring coverage of local struggles and highlight local activists and organizers.
We aim to publish both a print and online edition of our paper. Our papers are printed by our own writer locally, or printed by our affiliates in Michigan using their own, or union labor.
